Google changes search engine algorithms

Google will update its search engine algorithms. Under the slogan “More content for people and from people” Now sites of ordinary users with original content will have a higher priority in Google search results.

The company announced this on its blog.

Google’s algorithm update will begin on August 22 with English-language sites and will spread to all others.

This update will help ensure that low-quality non-original content won’t rank high in the SERPs, and our testing has shown it will particularly improve results for online education, as well as content related to arts and entertainment, shopping, and tech noted in the company.

People don’t find content useful if it appears to be designed to sell links rather than inform readers, the company emphasizes in a blog post.

Google is changing algorithms to ensure that sites with poor quality content do not rank at the top of search results.
